In its 14th season, Salida’s Stage Left Theatre Company is proud to be a part of the Salida Colorado Creative Arts District. As the resident theatre company at the SteamPlant Event Center in Salida, we produce four plays annually, including contemporary comedies and dramas, classics, premieres by Colorado playwrights, one-act play festivals, reader’s and children’s theatre events and small cast musicals. Recent productions include The Uses of Enchantment by Colorado playwright Jeffery Neuman, Top Girls, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Dancing at Lughnasa, I Am My Own Wife, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change and Love, Loss and What I Wore.
Stage Left Theatre Company is committed to producing excellent community theatre that entertains, enriches and inspires audiences and empowers all those who participate in its productions.
These goals are accomplished by:
- celebrating the human spirit with productions that range from the classics to developing new works
- promoting diverse artistic talents by supporting participation within the community
- fostering the next generation of artists and theatre-goers through volunteerism, workshops, internships and scholarships
